Lauren Slade - Paralegal
Lauren graduated with a first-class degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Bath and has a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics with Distinction from Imperial College London. She was granted a Lord Brougham Scholarship and The City Law School Scholarship for Academic Excellence to study for the GDL at City St George’s, University of London, in which she gained a Distinction, and completed the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.
Prior to commencing her legal studies, she worked as quantitative research lead at C|T Group – the consultancy of political strategist Sir Lynton Crosby – responsible for all polling and data analysis at the global headquarters in London.
Lauren is a keen writer and won ‘Best Journal Contribution’ at the Legal Cheek Awards 2024 for her article ‘How election legislation has failed the UK’s visually-impaired voters’, judged by a panel made up of The Right Hon Lord Burrows (Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom), I. Stephanie Boyce (former President of the Law Society), and Suzi Ring (Financial Times).
