Olivia Duffin - Paralegal

Olivia gained an accelerated LLB (Hons) from City, University of London, where she received the Allen & Overy Prize in International Economic Law, and an LLM (Hons) in Public International Law from Leiden University. At Leiden, she pursued the International Environmental Law elective track, wrote her thesis on environment-related trade disputes, and studied circular economics as part of the selective Masters Honours Academy. She was awarded a major scholarship by Middle Temple to study the Bar course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, which she completed in 2025.

Olivia’s professional experience includes working on high-profile judicial reviews and group litigation involving data breaches, clinical negligence, and product liability at a global top-tier group litigation firm. She then spent two years in the Corporate Legal and Tax team at FMO, the Dutch development bank. Olivia has also led the legal department at a leading rights of light surveying firm and volunteered with Care4Calais, assisting age-disputed asylum seekers to secure appropriate accommodation in the UK.

Before pursuing the Bar, Olivia earned a BA (Hons) in Classical Voice, with an additional award to study Classical Violin, from Leeds Conservatoire
