Oscar Sarazin - Paralegal

Oscar studied law in England and France. He first read English law at King’s College London (LLB) before pursuing a maîtrise en droit (master’s degree in French law) at Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas specialising in French conflict of law rules. He graduated with a First in both degrees.

He then returned to London to complete an LLM in International Business Law at the London School of Economics (Distinction) where he focused on international commercial arbitration and English conflict of law rules. Using his French law foundations, he wrote his LLM dissertation on anti-suit injunctions in aid of foreign-seated arbitrations, analysing the case study of a Paris-seated arbitral tribunal.

Finally, having received the Jules Thorn Scholarship from the Middle Temple, he went on to complete the Bar Course at City Law School and was called to the Bar of England & Wales in July 2025.

Throughout his studies, Oscar was successful in mooting competitions in both French and English law. He won the Assas v Sorbonne International Law Moot 2023. He also participated in the Willem C. Vis Moot 2024 as a member of the LSE team which saw the university reach top 32 / 400.

On a personal note, Oscar is a keen cyclist, history enthusiast and bakes his own loaf of bread almost every day.
