Ruby Sanders-English - Paralegal

Anton graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge with a number of scholarships and a Double First in Land Economy (Law, Economics and Environment) and earned a Distinction on the GDL at City. Having completed the Bar Course at City, he was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2026 as a Clothier, Exhibition, and Duke of Edinburgh Scholar of the Inner Temple.

Prior to joining CANDEY, Anton taught Tort Law at Magdalene College, served as a Visiting Lecturer in Equity & Trusts at the City Law School, and was a University Supervisor in Law & Economics and Macroeconomics at Cambridge. He also worked as a Research Assistant to the Cambridge Professor of Law, Economics, and Institutions and sat as an Admissions Interviewer at Magdalene College.

Before starting his legal career, Anton gained commercial experience as an Energy & ESG Analyst at an international advisory firm. He honed his advocacy skills as a Union Representative at the Employment Tribunal and as a City Law School representative in the International Competition Law Moot.

Anton is fluent in Russian and is conversationally fluent in Spanish and Serbo-Croatian.

He competed internationally in taekwondo and raced at the Henley Royal Regatta.
